It’s important to note that as far as I’ve experienced if you purchase MATIC through the ledger live app it will always be wrapped MATIC. If you want polygon MATIC without having to use the polygon bridge I’d find a good distributed exchange like sushi or some other to swap Eth directly for MATIC. Gas fees for the polygon bridge aren’t bad but it takes forever and if you’re trying to swap other wrapped coins like god forbid toncoin the bridge fees can be steep like 5 ton (like $12-15 as of the time of this writing).
