Apparently google is making changes to make it useless, so if you’re using google chrome or something I think it will cease to function if I understand correctly, says nothing about Firefox or non-google services. Lastpass is 100% the worst possible decision you can possibly make when you’re picking a new PM, your vault will probably get hacked and leaked because of their awful (server-side) security. KeePass(the open standard, not necessarily the app) is also a really good(really secure) way of storing your passwords, although maybe not as convenient but still extremely secure without the need for external hardware. I don’t think its *fully* resistant to things like clipboard hijacking malware, but just about every piece of software & hardware ever has attack vectors, so you have quite a few options between bitwarden, 1password, keepass
