If I’m not mistaken, Ledger Live shows you all your accounts, regardless of what ledger devices you plug in. You can even use Ledger Live without the device and receive payments. It’s only once you send a payment, you require the device. So you are probably just seeing everything regardless of the backup device.
So if you try to send a payment with the new device, it will fail if that wallet account was associated with a passphrase on the original device.
If you want to test this from a new Ledger Live, use another computer or create a new local user account on your PC. Then see if you can recover your wallet account with the new device, first without the passphrase, and if that doesn’t work, use the passphrase.
Also note the PIN and password on your computer does not need to be the same.
