Ledger live passwords are unimportant, and in fact unnecessary unless you share you computer account eith someone else.
You can alwaysr reset or reinstall ledger live, and use „add account“ to get access to the accounts derived from the seed that is in your connected ledger.
Your cryptos are not stored in ledger live, they are stored on the blockchains. Ledger live is just an interface ie a front-end giving you access, and if your ledger contains the correct seed, the account can be recovered using „add account“ on ledger live, with your ledger device connected.
