Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 in 2020.
I don’t recommend anyone running an unsupported operating system. Either try upgrading to Windows 10 or install Linux on it (for some this is a fun learning opportunity).
The companion software requires at least Windows 10.
You can use other computers from members of the family if you don’t ‚remember‘ the Trezor. By default when you unplug it, it will not show any information about it.
