Unkown coins that show up in wallet are dust attacks and if you dont transact them you will be fine. If swaps are reputable you would be fine (as far as im aware) Uniswap, pancake, sushi etc.
Best advice is to have bigger money in a different wallet and funds for NFTs and Alts in another.
