      Hallo zusammen,

      Vielen Dank!

Whenever you send coins or tokens to a centralized exchange (e.g., Coinbase), always check if that exchange accepts that token on that network.

For example, you’re trying to send QNT to Coinbase. So you log into your Coinbase account, hit the “Receive” button, and choose QNT. It shows your address and it should also show an alert with something along the lines of “This address can only accept QNT from Ethereum network. Do not send coins from a different network.”

Do not send the QNT back to the wallet it came from. Instead, log into your Coinbase and grab the receiving address from there.

Now check your Ledger. Is your QNT on Ethereum like Coinbase says? Yes. Only after you make this check, it is safe to transfer the funds.

Transferring **any** token that lives on Ethereum will require that you **pay network fees in Ether**. Make sure you have enough Ether in your Ledger account (the same one that holds the QNT) to complete the transaction.

Transactions are final and immutable. If you somehow made an error somewhere along the lines, the transaction can not be reversed; your funds would be lost forever. If this makes you nervous, you may want to consider trying a test transaction for a tiny amount first.

Yes, you take your QNT address on the Coinbase side, copy it – and then go back to Ledger Live, and in your QNT account when you press send, paste the address from Coinbase. : )

do a small test transaction first just to be certain. you’re always better safe than sorry!

Also, to add to the helpful comments, you would need ETH to pay for gas for transactions happening on the Etheruem blockchain
