      Hallo,

Could you have a wallet shipped to her directly from Trezor? (Maybe that’s what you meant, but it sounded like you were planning to ship it yourself.) Trezor has ~~~anti-tampering~~~ tamper-evident features built into their packaging.

I’m not sure which exchanges will allow trading with rubles right now. Maybe ask her if any vendors (grocery stores? other retailers?) are accepting crypto payment.

Realistically you can just have her download a soft wallet. It’s not as secure, but you could just keep the same keys and only transfer what she needs to prevent theft of the excess. It’s WAAAAY faster as she can get the funds like, right now. No need to wait for mail. And because you have the keys, you can reclaim it if needed.

Instead of a Russian bank account that she currently has, is it possible for her to get a Ukrainian bank account instead?

There are active sanctions imposed on the Rubles. Not without saying, advising to skirt governmental and institution level sanctions is a very slippery slope for anyone trying to circumvent it.

      Edit: general language check

you/she has to find a crypto exchange (probably based in ukraine or russia) that can send rubles to her bank. Once she opens an account on that exchange, you can ‘deposit’ crypto to her exchange account receiving address, then she can sell it for rubles and ‘withdraw’ those rubles to her bank account from the exchange, using either a ‘routing number and account number’ or ‘bank account login info’. Different crypto exchanges use different methods to transfer funds to and from banks. Let me know if you need further help.

This seems to be a list of exchanges that you can try: https://www.bitrawr.com/ukraine
