New Nano X “Akku-Temperatur zu hoch zum Laden”

Auf halbem Weg durch die Implementierung meiner Seed-Phase in meinen neuen Nano X bekomme ich alle 3 Sekunden die Meldung “Battery temperature too high for charging” https://i.imgur.com/XdBWNHA.jpg und musste sie löschen, bis ich in der Lage war, meine 24 Wörter zu beenden und dann meine PIN einzugeben, um das Gerät zu aktualisieren. Nachdem ich auf 1.3.0 aktualisiert hatte, verschwanden die Meldungen. Nachdem ich das Gerät nach der Aktualisierung aus- und wieder eingesteckt hatte, konnte ich es wieder voll aufladen, da es vor der Aktualisierung stecken geblieben war.

Meine Frage ist, warum müssen wir unsere Seed-Phrase vor der Aktualisierung implementieren und überprüfen, ob unser Gerät in Ledger Live echt ist? Ich weiß, dass einige dieser Geräte schlechte Batterien haben, aber meins scheint dieses Problem nicht zu haben, es scheint an der Werks-Firmware zu liegen.

Dear Ledger Inc,
I think most people would begrudgingly keep the defective devices if you pushed a firmware update that allows users to turn off the “battery temperature too high for charging” notification. I can live without the wireless feature (since the battery isn’t fully charging), but dealing with “battery temperature too high for charging” popping us every 3 seconds makes the device unusable.

Had the same thing. Had to take the usb out for a bit and then put it back in. Its annoying but it worked.

I have the same issue, the “Battery temperature..” popup is quite annoying, I hardly use the USB connection because of it.

I bypassed this issue by sticking an insulation tape between the battery and the contacts, no more prompts.

Just that I bought this device thinking I can use it on the go. Seems like I waste my money getting this instead of trezor model T though. Would avoid buying a ledger again for me

You can update your firmware without personalizing it by booting in recovery mode (hold the left (I think, or try the right) button while booting) and choose “recovery” in the menu
