Auch nach dem Herunterladen direkt von Ledgers Website gibt es eine Möglichkeit, doppelt zu überprüfen, nur für Seelenfrieden & Sicherheit?

As long as you never share your private keys, you’re not at risk of losing your crypto even if the app were a fake one. The important thing to know is that you should never type your seed phrase in your computer or take a photo of store it anywhere online. If your keys are secure and offline no one can get your crypto.

On windows when you install it a uac pop up should open to ask you for administrator right.

This pop up should say
Publisher : LEDGER SAS

If it does it proves this software is signed by their keys

The app I downloaded from the Microsoft app store was a scam. I’m a novice when it comes to hardware wallets and Ledger Nano X. I followed the instructions, typed my seed phrase in, and bam. My Ethereum was gone. Luckily I had only moved one token over there just as a test but it is still enough to bother me. I’m sticking to Trustwallet and Crypto.com. May not be my crypto because it’s not my keys but atleast it isn’t some scam artist’s. Here’s the address that stole it.
