Hallo Leute,

Ich habe BTC auf Binance Smart Chain in meine Metamaske abgehoben, in der Hoffnung, es zu staken oder zu farmen. Ich habe mich letztendlich dagegen entschieden, da ich hart daran gearbeitet habe, es aufzubauen und ich bin besorgt über Hacks usw.

Ich möchte es an meinen Ledger senden und es für ein paar Jahre vergessen. Was wäre der beste Weg, um BTC von BSC zu Ledger zu schicken?

Es sitzt derzeit auf Metamask gewickelt.

Wäre es am besten, es zuerst an eine Börse zu schicken und dann direkt auf meine Ledger-Adresse im Bitcoin-Netzwerk auszuzahlen?

All ERC20 or ERC20-compatible tokens can be secured by the ledger. Just send them to your ledger ETH address.

You can access all your ERC20 or ERC20-compatible tokens by using MetaMask, Rabby, MyEtherWallet, MyCrypto or any other ETH frontend (each configured tor the network you are using, e.g. ETH/ERC20, BSC/BEP20, AVAX, POLYGON etc, and connected to your ledger with „connect hardware wallet“, with the Ethereum app running on the ledger). Make sure to set „Contract Data enabled“ or „Blind signing enabled“ in the Ethereum app settings, on your ledger.

If the token is supported by Ledger Live (not all of them are), you can also use Ledger Live to access it.

Note that all tokens on all ERC20-compatible chains can be secured by the ledger. This includes the chains ETH/ERC20, BSC/BEP20, AVAX C-Chain, POLYGON, FTM/Opera, MOONRIVER, etc

Ledger Live and MetaMask are just visual front-ends. Your tokens are on the blockchain. Whether you use Ledger live or metaMask (or any other front-end) to access them makes no difference in terms of safety, as long as the address of the accounts on the blockchain were derived from your ledger seed..
