Hey kaufte ein Ledger nano x vor etwa 2 Jahren. Ich habe dummerweise die Phrase aufgeschrieben und ein Foto gemacht und es in mehreren Geräten (gewechselt Telefone) und eine Festplatte gespeichert. Es kann mit iCloud und Google Drive verbunden sein. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass die Seed Phrase nicht sicher ist, da ich eine beträchtliche Menge gespeichert habe.
Sie ist immer sicher, bis sie es nicht mehr ist.

Ich kann das Bild in keinem meiner Cloud-Speicher finden, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass es irgendwo vorhanden ist. Wie kann ich meine Phrase zurücksetzen?

Ich habe gehört, dass die einfache Eingabe eines falschen Passes im Ledger das Gerät zurücksetzt und einen neuen Seed generiert, aber damit brauche ich eine Möglichkeit, meine Bestände vorübergehend woanders zu speichern. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ein anderer Kältespeicher die sicherste Option dafür ist (aber ich möchte den Kauf eines anderen möglichst vermeiden).

Ich kann auch ein bereits vorhandenes Saatgut eingeben, aber würde dies ein völlig anderes Saatgut erzeugen, wenn ich dieses von Grund auf neu eingebe?

Transfer your crypto to a CEX, reset you ledger as you said to generate a new key phrase, and send your assets back to your ledger with the new wallet address.

Do a test transaction first each time.

Definitely not as safe as it should be

Edit: not sure if you can creat new seed without moving funds, pretty sure you have to move funds out…..change seed by resetting ledger then moving them back.

Also ignore any Private chats, they’re all scams

The seed IS the account-wallet.

New seed, new account-wallet, must transfer, **quickly**

How about you create a new seed phrase, load the apps for the crypto, get the receiving wallet addresses and write them down somewhere, lookup these addresses on blockcypher, wipe ledger to reload with original seed phrase then do a test transfer to send the crypto to the new addresses with verifying that they’ve been received on blockcypher (you could also wipe ledger and reload with new seed phrase to verify that everything is there). If all is good, then send the rest from the old wallet to the new wallet. No point in paying extra transfer fees to send to a middle man (hot wallet/exchange) if it’s not needed!

Buy a new ledger, transfer between old and new (test small amount first). You always want a backup device in case one fails anyway just to access your coins quickly (instead of waiting for shipping).

Don’t worry about getting a new cold wallet to do this. Since you wouldnt be leaving your money on the exchange for long, you risk is close to none.

IMO, right now, your Ledger is the most unsecure thing to have your funds, you don’t know when it will to broke, a drop accident, forget the pin, someone finding the seed phrase you cannot, etc. I would create a new mobile wallet and move all the funds asap, then reset the Ledger, create and secure new seed phrase and then move again all the funds.

Spread out your coins to several different wallets. Then regenerate and send it back. If you have so much on one wallet you should get more than one wallet. Buy the 3 pack of Ledgers. That’s way if one is compromised you still have 2 left
