There is so much wrong about this.

If you already typed your seed randomly maybe just create brand new wallet in Trezor, add nice passphrase and voilà.

This entire post shows the reason why crypto moving to main stream is proving difficult. People refuse to educate themselves properly.

By using your Metamask or Electrum seeds on the Trezor you have essentially turned it into trash. Never ever put a old, used seed on a hardware wallet! You should have your Trezor generate a new seed, write it down, hide it away where nobody else can find it.

Then send your funds to the new wallet(s) that you created.

Everyone is giving you correct advice here, but I want to make one thing very clear: You are about to have all your funds stolen.

Based on your responses you have badly misunderstood how wallets / addresses / seed phrases work. If you have shared your 12 words with anyone, they now have an exact copy of your wallet and can remove your bitcoin whenever they want.

NEVER share those 12 words with anyone. Even having them on your computer is risky, in case of a virus or any other cause that means someone finds the 12 words.

I’ll repeat it: If someone knows your 12 words, they can steal your funds at any point.

So you don’t have a cold wallet. There’s not much point in using a hardware wallet if you use a seed phrase that has been exposed digitally. You should generate a new seed phrase on trezor and never enter this seed anywhere online and never store it digitally (e.g. on your computer).

Since you seem not to be informed about how this all works, just to clarify, if someone gained access to your metamask seed phrase, e.g. because your pc/browser is comprimised, they will gain control of all the assets associated with the accounts generated from the metamask seed. Whoever has the access to the seed phrase (12/24 words), has full access to all assets associated with accounts of this seed phrase. That’s why you should generate a seed phase on your trezor device and never enter it anywhere digitally, since trezor itself will never expose your seed phrase to the outside world, hence no one can steal your stuff even if they hack your computer.

You are completely missing the whole point… you do NOT import existing hot wallets into it (e.g. metamask, electrum, etc). You instead use the Trezor, to generate a secure, cold wallet seed and then move your funds to that instead.

What you did now, adds nothing in security and instead most likely just adds risk instead.

After reading through all of the comments here, I think I have figured it out. I have allowed the Trezor to generate a new seed phrase. Please tell me if this looks good enough:

Since the people I buy coins from already have my old 12-words on file, I will send them this one and ask them to transfer my old coins to this new one and to send my future purchases to this new one. It is secured by the Trezor.
