Not possible. A seed does not change, ever.

Regardless of what Any app or wallet says, just never type, speak out load or have your phone camera looking at your seed. It’s more private than the Americans social security numbers.

If you need to retrieve access to a wallet, you will only type your seed into the nano device it’s self. Only in the nano EVER!!!

Lol but for real though, your seed should be your best kept secret

The most plausible is that you got a message reminding you to make sure you have your seed phrase and that backup etc is not possible. That if something catastrophic happens during install, you might need to input the seed phrase into your Ledger to restore the old accounts in case the device is wiped.

Negative ghost rider. I’ve had my ledger for over a year now. Multiple updates for ledger live as well as firmware updates. No update to the seed phrase ever.

      Short response – Nope!

You only generate it once when you set up the device – it’s important that you write it down at this time and keep it secure. Use the recovery phrase sheets that come with the device, however metal is even better (fireproof and waterproof if you get the right kind)! 👍🏼

You can’t change seed but you can add additional security called Passphrase, but it will create a new set of accounts.

      Warning:

-Don’t enter your seed into anything except the Ledger device itself.

-Download / update ledger live software from official website only.

-Never use search engine to access ledger website.

-Ignore all messages in your inbox and mark them as spam.

-Never click links or install software from an e-mail.

-Never respond to someone request to download remote applications(Team viewer, anydesk and etc.)

-Always conduct a small amount test while sending or receiving your funds and verify that the correct wallet address was copied/pasted into address bracket.

-Verify your ledger live is authentic:

It’s important to understand what your seed phrase is. It’s not a password.

Each of those 24 words in your seed phrase represents a number between 0001 and 2048. That 96 digit number (24 words, each of which is actually a 4 digit number) is what your private keys and public addresses are derived from. So, no, the seed phrase will never change, because if it did, it would make all of your keys and addresses wrong… which means you’d lose everything.

Never type your seed words into any device other than your hardware wallet.

Never ever ever, for any reason, never.

Maybe you’re thinking „But what about Metamask?“ NOPE. „What about Electrum?“ NO, NO, NO.

If you want to keep your crypto safe, never type your seed phrase into any device other than your hardware wallet. Don’t take a picture of it. Don’t save it in a text file. Don’t dictate it to Alexa. Don’t let your snooping Samsung TV hear you speak it. Keep it secret, keep it safe.

NEVER type your seed words into any device other than your hardware wallet.

      Stay safe everybody!

Does your bank account change whenever they upgrade their system? = No

Same is applicable to upgrading/updating your Ledger firmware and apps.

Have you read the instruction manual that came with your ledger yet? It should be read numerous times until it all sinks in.

Plus you should be spending time on the support.ledger.com website and finding out all the intricacies and details of anything you might want to do with your coins or the ledger.
