I keep 1 nano X on me at all times to transact manually, via Bluetooth on the go.

I do lots of transactions.

I don’t care if people see that I have a ledger, they can snatch it off of me and try to guess my PIN but I would bet every penny of crypto I have that they fuck up and brick the device.

I also carry a knife and pepper spray tho so, if anyone wants to scrap I’m fine w that too just for fun lol

I would advise most people to not carry it around however – or have a separate cold storage device that u use as a daily driver and then one with the majority of ur funds stored somewhere safely.

Secure place without a doubt! And it can take a long time until i connect it to the pc.

Nope, but I have a lightning hot wallet on my phone with like $20 in case I stumble upon a place that takes BTC so I can take advantage of that and support adoption.

I carry it. Mainly because in only ever use it in ledger mobile or metamask

I have two different ledgers. One with a „daily change“ amount (which I can take through borders legally) that also serves as my 2FA device. I carry it around in my bag. My reasons are:

– 2FA device. I use mine to authenticate my logins and it is way safer than any other option (text message, authenticator app);

– I do receive crypto as payment from clients. This way I can generate real receive addresses from my wallet.

– If I get stuck somewhere I do have some change to pay for stuff for a few days.

However, my other ledger is in a safe, with the major portion of my crypto.

I don’t. The wallet and ledger also stay separate. I dont let people know that I own crypto either. I usually play dumb when asked unless it’s necessary.

I carry my main nano x everywhere I go and keep it in my pocket. I have a second nano x at home in a safe location. I sometimes use it multiple times a day, including when I’m out and about. Just have to make sure it has a decent charge. Otherwise, I also carry a mini usbc portable charger.

Id just use a hot wallet for everyday purchases and keep the majority in a secure place.

Actually, I keep it in two safe places. I have my original Nano X In one safe place, and a newer Nano X with the same seed phrase in a different safe place as backup.

I would think about these following:

A) Will I regularly have to make TXes on the go?

B) Is there a higher probability of my device being stolen from my home rather than me losing it while it’s on my person (incl. having it be stolen while it’s on me)?

If A) is false, then I won’t carry it on my person all the time.

If A) and B) are true then I won’t carry it on my person all the time.

Only if A) is true and B) is false would I carry the device with me.

With bzc under 20k it’s not worth carrying the weight

I carry it in my pocket sometimes but not often. I would never put my hardware wallet on a key ring. I don’t broadcast wealth/investments/savings much at all. I don’t intend to use crypto from a consumerist perspective…I view it as an investment and banking device so there is no point in taking it everywhere or showing it off to people.

Leave it in a secure place, and setup metamask or some other „hot“ wallet with enough funds you wouldn’t be upset to lose. Do your stuff from your hot wallet. Try and only use your ledger to send to and from your hot wallets and exchanges.

Heck no don’t carry it. Keep it somewhere safe. This is not an every day use type thing.

The more crypto I add, the heavier it gets and more difficult to carry. <sarcasm>

Why would you want or need to carry it around with you? Leaving it in a secure place would be the better option … and NOT with your seed phrase.

My keys are secure I keep my wallet because I was in the habit of verifying every transaction I don’t need to verify every one but I still keep my wallet on me because of habit

No point in carrying it around. Does anyone that does ever use it when they are out and about?

I carry one nano x with me at all times, and one as backup elsewhere. Here is the carrying case I bought and love for both my carry and backup. It’s not waterproof but it protects the nano X very well, is high quality, and not bulky. They also make it for the nano S and have some other fun items to check out

P.S. they are also working on a case that will have a port to allow you to charge while it’s in the case. Obvious trade off is less dust proof but it’s no different than the port of a phone being open in your pocket but no ETA yet on when that will come out
