In this case all you’ll need to do is fund your „**available balance**“ with a small amount of SOL (think along the lines of .05-.1 SOL) and this error message should resolve.

Effectively, your Solana account’s available balance will always need a small amount of SOL to pay for „rent“ on the Solana blockchain, as well as other network fees.

Notably, this is also why you should make sure to refrain from hitting „*max*“ when staking or sending your SOL – as it will generate an error (and in some cases, erroneously saying that „the internet is down“).

And no the unstaked amount does not add up

You can try and import your ledger onto SOL compatible wallets that support ledger and extract it that way. All that the hardware is, is a window into the blockchain.

I can’t restake my DOT. No idea if same problem (no PM needed)

I gave up staking dot 2 years ago after major headach to unstake , was such a pain . Now i m staking ada its such a great experience . Liquid, cheap and easy . I m trying hard not to turn a cardano maxi . Good luck for unstaking it and forget about Dot my friend .

Im having the same problem

I did eventually figure it out, with some help from ledger. Apparently I did not have enough unstaked sol to pay for the gas. Adding $5 in sol solved the problem
