Hi! Remember that it’s incredibly important that your recovery phrase is never entered into your computer or smartphone, ever. This also means that you shouldn’t be setting up your Ledger with a recovery phrase that came from these devices either!

Having this important fact in mind, note that you can send all your ERC20 tokens to your Ledger-protected Ethereum account. ERC20 supported by ledger Live will be displayed there under your Ethereum accounts, and for those that are not supported in Ledger Live, you’ll be able to see them in MetaMask by connecting your Ledger device to it MM. You probably already know but you can transfer wallet to wallet in MetaMask, gas fees apply and yes you will loose “tax” on those coins that have them because it views it as a transaction, I learned the hard way so now I purchase from my Ledger address connected to MetaMask

connect your ledger to MM and use „connect hardware wallet“ in MetaMask. The ledger-protected accounts will be marked „hardware“ in MetaMask.

Then Transfer all your cryptos from your old MM accounts to this new „hardware“ MM account.
