You can transfer it anywhere you want, but the entire transaction history will always be public.

You can use a BTC mixer to get away from an obvious transaction.

Buy Monero using BTC. Sell Monero for BTC and send to a fresh wallet.

Create a Wallet. Pay somebody you don’t know 20 bucks to go to a bitcoin ATM. Scan your wallet QR code.

I think it is possible to easily anonymise but it requires a degree of knowldge that I’m not going to presume that I know.

I wouldn’t assume my transactions are anonymous unless I’d really studied the subject.

You can try services like fixedfloat.com

That’s how I get most of my coins.

Most all ways of washing your BTC involve either moving to a software-hot-wallet for some time, or trusting a third party. The ways I know how to do it:

      1. Wasabi – Requires transfer to SW hot-wallet during coinjoin
      2. FixedFloat – Requires trusting third party `FixedFloat` to act in good faith
      3. JoinMarket – Requires transfer to SW hot-wallet during coinjoin
      4. Exchanges – All Suite based exchanges require the exchange act in food faith
      4. Lightning – Electrum HTLC priv-keys are maintained in the SW, even when connected to HW.

There was mention of a BTC-XMRatomic swap. Generally atomic swaps are trustless, but I’m not sure if either of the two wallet that do BTC-XMR atomic swaps support HW wallets.

Trezor is adding CoinJoin, but it’s not out of beta yet.
