      Hallo,

      Das letzte Mal, dass mein Trezor-One an einen Computer angeschlossen war, war im Jahr 2018.

      Ich habe noch die Seed-Phrasen und die PIN.

      Ich möchte ihn jetzt wieder mit einem (inzwischen) neuen Computer verbinden.

      \-Hat jemand Erfahrung mit einer so langen „Kaltlagerzeit“? Werde ich auf Probleme stoßen?…

      \-Hat jemand einen Rat für die richtige Reihenfolge, um sicher vorzugehen? (zuerst über die alte Web-Wallet aktualisieren, dann über die Suite?…)

      You will likely have to update the firmware before it will work with current versions of most wallets, including suite.

      Just open Suite with it and it should prompt to update the firmware.

      I don’t think there should be any issues, if the device still functions. You will be prompted to update firmware and that’s it.

      As long as you have the seed you are safe, even if you mess up with the T1 you will still be able to retrieve them on a new device or even a hot BIP39 wallet, although I do not recommend the last option.

      I fired up my Trezor after 4 years with no problems whatsoever. Remember, your Bitcoin is on the blockchain not the Trezor. Just update everything and you should be good to go.

      Then follow the prompts to update Trezor’s firmware to the latest version.
