Polygon NFT über opensea

Same deal here, luckily I don’t have anything trapped in the trezor but I had to use a web wallet for my polygon business. „RPC Error: MetaMask Message Signature: Error: Not supported on this device“ in console, zero problems using Trezor with metamask for any purpose outside of polygon. Latest firmware, tried with various versions of Metamask and another trezor-compatible wallet (frame).

In my long frantic search to get this working a few days ago I found people talking about my exact issue here, they still have it as of yesterday:

I keep getting this error when trying to unlock currency when listing a Polygon NFT. I am sure that my wallet is on the correct network and I have WETH in my wallet so I am not sure what else to try.

The linked trezor pull request sounds like the issue was fixed a few weeks ago but it’s not. Guess this needs a couple more months of work between metamask, trezor and opensea which sucks

Trezor supports dozens of chains with hundreds of tokens. You should be able to talk to MM or Opensea, or Polygon to figure out the following:

* Chain-id: This is the ETH-like-chain that Poly or OpenSean, or MM is using.
* Token contract: This is the ERC-20, ERC-721, or other contract at play on the designated chain-id.

Beyond that, you will want to know what passphrase (if any) and derivation path you used when you set this all up. In the end you should have a [passphrase, derivation, chain, and token](https://new.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/rtmpuk/psa_for_those_having_trouble_with_eth_matic_erc20/). Once you have all that nailed down there are a few different apps you can likely use to access this. Maybe metamask, or perhaps MEW, or maybe MyCrypto. But getting all that information first is the important bit.

As far as I am aware Trezor does not support ERC-721 NFTs. You could set up a new wallet using the same seed phrase as the one on your trezor and retrieve them that way. But that would mean your Trezor wallet will no longer be secure since funds could be sent/recieved from the new wallet without your hardware wallet signing the transaction. If you wish to dabble on nfts Ledger might be a better option.

6. Ensure you have connectivity to [perform simple tasks like message signing](https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/rxhjqb/psa_before_you_deposit_funds_into_metamask/)

Also ensure you harvest the log from Metamask. Examine it yourself too, it may give you clues. If you share the log with Metamask, or anyone else, is up to you.
