Trezors are not repairable, sorry.

The problem is cracking open a case that’s designed to not be cracked open. You damage the case in the process, so the repair center would need to re-case the device. At which point, in terms of logistics, it’s maybe cheaper to send you a new unit.

In theory, Trezor _could_ run a replacement scheme where you send in the broken device and receive a new one at a discount.

In practice, it just reeks of legal risks. „I sent a broken Trezor for repair and now my funds are gone.“

Depending how you set up your Trezor you can restore the wallet on another Trezor or even a software wallet. Personally I wouldn’t trust sending a live wallet to anyone.

Once I had over $5000 in crypto I bought a second device. Now I have both a Trezor-T and Trezor-1. If one fails, I use the other while I replace the failed unit. Never needed to, but it seemed a simple enough choice.
