I use cardano with ledger but not using ledger live. I use an Eternal wallet with ledger and just send from Coinbase to there.

you can also join a staking pool there and earn free ADA it’s like a 2 ADA fee to join a pool. your ADA is never moved to these pools, it always stays in your wallet.
