Hey u/glis21, based off of your comments below (as well as u/Zatouroffski’s suggestion – great call on this by the way) – it sounds like you were able to access your ETH again – I’m glad to hear!

As Zatouroffski mentioned, when you’re selecting the specific derivation path with a 3rd party wallet (in this case [MetaMask](https://www.ledger.com/academy/security/the-safest-way-to-use-metamask)), when you connect your Ledger as a hardware wallet – you’ll want to make sure it’s the correct derivation path, as there are a variety (in this case your account was a Legacy account, and so the Legacy derivation path was precisely where you wanted to look for said funds).

For future reference (if any other community members are experiencing similar situations) – it’s always good to test out these different derivation paths and see if your funds generate, that way you can be certain one path may or may not work, and you can hone down your search from there.
