Hey, thanks for reaching out, you are indeed correct, currently it is disabled on Metamask’s end, if you try to connect you will receive this error message „The ‚Sync with extension‘ feature is temporarily disabled. If you want to use your extension wallet on MetaMask mobile, then on your mobile app: go back to the wallet setup options and select the ‚Import with Secret Recovery Phrase‘ option. Use your extension wallet’s secret phrase to then import your wallet into mobile.“
So Metamask suggested import with recovery phrase, however we at Ledger won’t suggest that since its risky to put your 24 words on Metamask (since it becomes online and defeats the purpose)
Therefore, its better to not sync for now to your mobile and do it from chrome extension with Ledger on PC (the safest option)
