Hi, in order to use Trezor with Metamask, you have to create a MM wallet first – then you can connect your Trezor to it which creates another account in your Metamask wallet, the one that is secured by Trezor. If anyone gets access to your Metamask, they will only access the hot wallet account, while your Trezor account in Metamask is still safe, as long as your Trezor device (and Trezor seed) is safe.
