Metamask has been working on the fix, and should be done soon. But they have been working on it since [last July](https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/issues/11498), so „soon“ is relative, but they have commented on it daily so it seems to have traction now.
For anyone too impatient for [metamask to approve the update](https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/pull/13693), here’s a friendly reminder that you don’t necessarily need to wait. SL can’t do it, because to release it publicly, as SL would require testing and validation (same thing MM is waiting on). But if you (or anyone else) is fed-up enough to try it, the code is all there. Just like making cookies. Just follow the recipe.
