      Hat das irgendwelche Vorteile? Wenn jemand meine 22 Wörter findet, braucht er trotzdem meine anderen 2. Genauso, wenn jemand meine 2 gefunden hat, braucht er die 22 Wörter.

      Ich habe mir überlegt, dies zu tun und 2 Wörter an einem leicht zugänglichen Ort aufzubewahren.

      ….
      Danke für die Antworten an alle! Ich weiß es zu schätzen.

      No, 22/24 words can be easily brute-forced with BTCRecover in a few hours.

      Don’t take my word for it… Create a test seed and try it yourself, demo here

      Words 1-16 on one paper, 8-24 on another, 1-8 and 16-24 on the last. Any 2 parts can reconstruct the seed but if any 1 sheet is compromised you still have 8 words missing (which by most accounts is not able to be brute forced). There’s obviously benefits and trade offs to any seed storage solution so evaluate what’s best for your needs.

      I’ve seen the recommendation to make 3 lists. Each list includes 16 of the words with 8 words that overlap with the other lists. You only need 2 of the 3 lists to get all the words but no single list will compromise your phrase.

      * List 1 = words 1 – 8 & words 9 – 16
      * List 2 = words 9 – 16 & words 17 – 24
      * List 3 = words 1 – 8 & words 17 – 24

      Hello, The only two ways that someone could gain access of your crypto assets entirely are either by gaining physical access to your device with the PIN code you set or by getting access to the all 24 words of recovery phrase you generate and write-down upon setting up your device. For more information on how to secure your recovery phrase please refer to our article below:

      It is VERY easy to bruteforce 2 missing words, so your „trick“ is not protecting your seed at all.

      It’s a great benefit if you want to kneecap your ability to recover it

      Why dont you look into the passphase feature? This adds a 25th word that you choose to your seed phrase and opens a new wallet/account. You can add as many passphrases and to restore you will need 24 +1.

      Anyone that finds your seed phrase only has acces to your original wallet, you need to add the passphrase to acces the other wallet
