Reminder that Google offers half-blind email addresses. Add any string joined to your `gmail` address with the symbol `+` and it will work as if absent.

So for OP, the optimal config would be to have their email set up like:

1. `MrChaBuDuo@gmail.com` – for „normal“ email
1. `MrChaBuDuo+reddit@gmail.com` – for reddit signup
1. `MrChaBuDuo+CMC@gmail.com` – for CoinMarketCap signup
1. `MrChaBuDuo+Trezor@gmail.com` – for Trezor signup
1. `MrChaBuDuo@gmail.com` – for „normal“ email

All 5 will be delivered to the same `MrChaBuDuo@gmail.com` mailbox.

At least that way you know if there is a leak, which service your email was leaked from. Doesn’t reduce phishing in any way, just helps you figure out who to blame.

This is the fakest bullshit. How does them acquiring your email address? Allow them access to your seed.

Never give out your seed phrase even to Trezor’s official support team. The whole point of a hardware wallet is to allow you to interact with your coins on the blockchain without ever needing to input your seed phrase via typing on keyboard

There are a lot of posts here regarding this, it appears that Trezor customer data was breached. Fake emails were sent out.

Moral of the story is Trezor had board meetings when the Ledger fiasco happened and knew damn well they shouldn’t gamble with keeping an email list but did anyway. They purposely endangered their customers.

There was been a big increase in phishing emails. I have a few emails and have been getting fake coinbase and trezor to all of them.

I am so lost with all these phishing scam posts. People are not suppose to share their details but somehow scammers are still getting it. Can someone explain?
