the only way to use your ledger-generated addresses in a software wallet is to use the 24 word recovery phrase in the software wallet to generate the private keys there. DO NOT do this unless you have lost your ledger and absolutely need access to your crypto immediately and can’t afford to wait to receive another hardware wallet.

The addresses are the same, but you can connect your Ledger to a Software wallet and use the Software wallet as a replacement for Ledger Live. Therefore, you can use a Software to manage your funds.

However, the addresses generated by your software wallet are derived from the seed phrase of your software wallet. The addresses generated by your Ledger device are derived from your Ledger seed phrase. Therefore, it isn’t possible to import an address from one wallet into another.

Keep in mind that your Ledger seed phrase needs to stay offline.

Moreover, it doesn’t make sense to enter the seed phrase of a hot wallet into a Ledger device because the seed phrase has already been displayed online (therefore it can be compromised).
