Also, ich interessiere mich für eine Reihe von Alt-Münzen, aber die Ledger nano scheint nicht, diese zu unterstützen. Die meisten von ihnen sind auf der Ethereum-Kette. Aber die Ledger hat nicht eine App für alle von ihnen.

Muss ich eine andere Wallet, wie Meta Mask verwenden, um auf diese zuzugreifen? Wenn ja, bedeutet dies, dass ich eine weitere Cold Wallet kaufen muss?

You can connect your ledger to Metamask. No need for a different cold wallet.
You just have to send your coins to your ETH address created by your Ledger and open Metamask, connect your ledger, open your ETH app and your coins not supported by ledger live, should be there. Make a test first

They probably are on ledger live. Only blockchains have apps, tokens will show up under the blockchains you install.

if they’re ethereum tokens there’s a good chance they could show underneath an ETH account in ledger live. regardless even if they’re not supported in ledger live, u can use an ethereum wallet like metamask and import the token contract details and use ur ledger to access and store ur tokens that way using the ledger as ur cold wallet.

other hardware wallets will work in this same fashion. also, I used to use a trezor and switched to ledger because trezor barely supported any tokens in the trezor suite so, I feel u OP. i like my ledger and store a freaking ton (probably too many lol) ERC-20 tokens with my ledger, in ledger live, and in metamask with my [ledger connected](https://www.ledger.com/academy/security/the-safest-way-to-use-metamask).
