Hallo zusammen

Folgendes ist passiert. Ich habe einige USDC auf mein Ledger übertragen, das mit meiner Metamask verbunden war. Ich habe dann mein Ledger zurückgesetzt, um andere Konten zu importieren, und vergessen, die USDC vor dem Zurücksetzen auf ein anderes Konto zu übertragen.

Meine Frage ist: Wie bekomme ich die USDC am einfachsten zurück in mein neu eingerichtetes Ledger? Ich habe Seed-Phrasen für beide Konten, aber wenn man bedenkt, dass ich noch neu in der Welt der Ledger und Metamask bin, wollte ich mich melden, bevor ich am Ende den Zugriff auf meine Kryptowährung verliere.

Since you still have the seed phrase you have a few options to get your USDC back. I am going to tell you the most secure way and the way I would personally do it. Note: these steps assume that there is some ETH in the account with the USDC that you can use to pay for the gas fees. If not you will need to send a little bit of ETH to this account.

First you will want to get your ETH address off of Ledger Live for the recovery phrase that you are currently using. Put that in your notepad or just somewhere that you will have easy access to. Then make sure you have your current recovery phrase written down and stored somewhere safe. After you have double checked that you have it you can enter an incorrect pin into your Ledger 3 times to wipe it.

From here you will want to restore the device using your old recovery phrase that has the USDC. You will be able to go into Ledger Live/Metamask and send the USDC out of this account and to your new account (you pasted the ETH address for it somewhere earlier for this step). After you have sent everything out of this account you can wipe the device again and restore the device with your current seed phrase.

You should see the USDC in your account and use everything like normal again.
