      Mein Ledger-Albtraum geht weiter. Gestern hatte ich Probleme mit dem Manager in der LL-Anwendung. Heute erlaubt mir LL nicht, Vermögenswerte zu senden/empfangen. Im Grunde bin ich nicht in der Lage, irgendetwas zu tun.

      Wann immer ich eine Kryptowährung empfangen möchte (alle Konten: BTC, ETH etc…), bleibe ich beim Laden hängen. Wenn ich versuche zu senden, dreht sich die Schaltfläche ständig und lässt mich nicht fortfahren. Ich habe die LL-Anwendung neu installiert, das Ledger-Gerät zurückgesetzt und alle Schritte zur Fehlerbehebung befolgt, ohne Erfolg.

      Kurz gesagt – ich kann nicht auf meine Kryptos zugreifen. Ich habe dies über ein Support-Ticket eskaliert, noch keine Antwort.

      Bitte um Hilfe. Ich weiß nicht, was ich jetzt tun kann. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich alles verloren habe.

      First, relax. Your money is SAFU, as long as you have your seed. Locate your seed.

      Second, do not reply to anyone asking for your seed, or, sending you links to LL software. Only download from Ledger official site (check the checksum of the file if you know how).

      Worst case scenario, sounds like you’re looking at a problem with your device, which you can solve by resetting (again, do no trust anyone offering firmware updates, or link to fw updates saying your „device is corrupted“, it’s a known scam).

      Locate your seed, keep it safe, and start by troubleshooting the device. Reset it if you must.

      Remember, you only must enter your seed on the Ledger device itself, do not type on the software, ever. If you find yourself entering your seed anywhere but the Ledger device itself, stop; It’s a scam.

      First though, again, relax, take a deep breath, do not do anything urgently.

      You have all the time as long as you have your seed, and have not shared it with anyone.

      Then remove Algorand app. Same issue as for Cosmos. It is not stable yet. Ledger is working on a solution. Let us know, if it gets better

      I would wipe the ledger and try again with another ledger. It’s good to have a backup ledger device even if your current one starts working somehow.

      As the other commenter said, you could also type words into a hot wallet (eg exodus) if you need to access funds. Be aware this semi exposes your seed phrase and you may want to start over with a fresh seed if you do it.

      I have connected device to another computer. Ledger Live started, accessed Manager and it’s at stage ‚Preparing your device‘.

      On Ledger I can see Control Centre, nothing happens there.

      If nothing will work use your seed phrase with a hot wallet app (like metamask) and send through there. This puts your funds in risk, but this is better then nothing

      (You will be able to transfer your funds without ledger confirmation)

      You can always access your crypto by using your seed phrase in a native wallet like Metamask (not that I’d recommend that as a first option as you’re giving up your ledger security) but if you won’t buy a new ledger and ledger are their usual unhelpful selves with support then that’s your option.

      Are you using Cosmos app on Ledger Live Mac OS? If so delete the app and if as me, problem should be solved

      You can keep the app on your iPhone/IPad. No issue. But if you remove it on Mac OS, close Lever Live and restart it, it should be fixed. I had not problem after I removed Cosmos and I read that Algo was exactly having the same issue

      communications between ledger live and the ledger device are generally due to bad cables or issues with the USB ports.

      Did you try using another cable.

      You probably have to update either the app or the firmware on the device itself. Go to the ledger website and look to see what the latest update/firmware versions are and see if that’s what you have.
