Ich habe heute eine Einzahlung von ETH in mein Ledger-Wallet vorgenommen. Als ich überprüfte, ob es ankam, stellte ich fest, dass 90% davon automatisch in STETH umgewandelt worden waren. Das Geld ist da, allerdings hauptsächlich in Form von STETH. Ich habe zuvor ETH über die Lido-App in Ledger eingesetzt, aber ich verstehe nicht, wie oder warum dies automatisch geschieht? Oder übersehe ich etwas?

You would have had to interact w the stETH contract via a swapping interface.

U wouldn’t be able to deposit ETH and receive stETH unless specifically executed. In the case u potentially withdrew from an exchange they could have for some reason credited u stETH.

if u just sent ETH to another ETH account however – it wouldn’t somehow become stETH.

That’s not possible. If you post your PUBLIC address can take a look at etherscan for ya to figure out what happened.

Hey – it is not possible for ETH to automatically get converted to stETH during the transfer. If you’ve sent your ETH to your Ledger ETH account then it will be shown as ETH in your account. Could you provide us with your txid so that we can look in to this for you?
