Liege ich richtig in der Annahme, dass ich durch das Hinzufügen eines 25. Wortes mein selbst gewähltes Wort zu meiner Standard-Seedphrase mit 24 Wörtern hinzufüge, so dass ich es nicht aufschreiben muss und es daher nur in meinem Gedächtnis speichern kann? Auf diese Weise, wenn jemand meine Seedphrase hat, ist der einzige Weg, sie aus mir herauszubekommen, mich buchstäblich zu foltern lol? Jeder Beitrag wird geschätzt

– no. Not writing it down is a bad idea.
– keeping the 25th word safely away from the 24 words is a good idea & will protect you if someone get a hold of your 24 words.

The only downside for me is having to enter this word on the Trezor for every single transaction. If you’re into de-fi this can get cumbersome. But worth the trade off in exchange for extra security.

Someone correct me if I’m misunderstanding the question, but words in seed phrases can only come from one of the 2,048 words in the BIP39 word list. Words have to be a certain sequence, and also the last word in any seed phrase is a checksum, so it can’t be any word you want.

Seed is stored on the device, passphrase is not. It is always good to use a passphrase. That way the attacker has to know both to steal your assets. Even if someone stole your device and managed to extract the seed, it’d be useless without the passphrase.

Make sure to choose a strong and long passhrase though. Preferably something one can’t find in a dictionary.
