BITTE HILFE! *Trezor-Katastrophe*
Ich benutze Trezor seit Jahren, sie sind großartig. Ich habe meinen Schwiegereltern geholfen, ihre Kryptowährungen zu verschieben (leider haben sie sich scheiden lassen und wollten, dass ich ihre Kryptowährungen trenne) und ich fürchte, ich habe einen schrecklichen Fehler gemacht. Ich richtete den neuen Trezor meines Schwiegervaters ein und schickte seine Hälfte der Kryptowährung von der Geldbörse meiner Schwiegermutter. Erfolg.
Ich stellte fest, dass ich die Seed-Wörter nicht vom Trezor erhalten hatte (ich glaube, er wurde während der Ersteinrichtung vom Laptop getrennt), und ich musste die USB-Verbindung sichern und die Einrichtung fortsetzen. Was ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht wusste, war, dass ich „glaube“, dass dies meine einzige Chance war, meine Seed-Wörter zu erhalten. Da ich das nicht wusste, setzte ich die Einrichtung mit einer PIN fort und schickte das Geld. Sie tauchten auf, aber mir wurde klar, dass ich KEINE seiner Seed Words hatte, und wenn er das Ding verloren hätte oder es gestohlen worden wäre, wäre er am Ende gewesen.
Also schickte ich das Geld zurück an den Trezor meiner Schwiegermutter, mit Erfolg.
Ich speicherte die Adresse in den Wallets und WIPED meine leere Trezor des Schwiegervaters und richtete sie erfolgreich ein (dieses Mal mit allen Seed-Wörtern).
Ich habe das CRYPTO an seine alte Adresse geschickt, die gelöscht wurde, und ich habe die Seed-Wörter nicht mehr! Ich zögerte, mich überhaupt einzumischen, sie sind älter und nicht technikaffin, aber ich habe sie in den Krypto-Raum Jahren und wollte sie mit dieser Trennung zu helfen. Dies war KEINE kleine Menge an Krypto und ist zu einer Belastung für die Familie geworden. Ich hatte die besten Absichten…
Ich habe mich an den Trezor-Support gewandt, aber sie haben sich nicht bei mir zurückgemeldet.
Hat jemand einen Rat für mich?!

Wallet is gone, and coins are gone. As you say, there is nothing you can do.
Feels bad and its something that you will remember till the end of days, unless you somehow make it back by grinding and trading and a bit of luck.Dont get me wrong, there is no way to get that back, if there was, that would be a security issue and i would not for the life of me use the device.

Trezor support won’t be able to help you, they have no power or visibility over generated seeds (otherwise they wouldn’t truly be *your* keys)
If you really did send the funds to the old address, did not register the seed anywhere and wiped the device the funds are gone.

Were you distracted by a pod of dolphins or something, off the side of the boat?
So what lessons did we learn, for future readers of this thread?
* Never send any value to a hardware wallet with a missing/unknown recovery seed.
* Always double-check and triple-check the destination address. When sending significant amounts of value, send a trivial amount first and confirm receipt before proceeding with larger amounts.
* Don’t allow yourself to be talked into moving around life-changing amounts of value for your in-laws unless you’re really confident in your ability to follow basic best practices. -

Write down absolutely everything you know about this whole situations including things that you believe won’t matter, lock the whole thing in a dry box and put it somewhere safe. It just might be that in 10 or so years someone will figure something out that will make the recovery possible. Maybe someone will find a bug in trezor, maybe something else. That’s the longest shot of them all and extremely unlikely , but seems like your only one.

i would think wiping a trezor is the same as wiping a hard drive, sometimes the old data is still recoverable. Maybe you could try physically sending it to someone like Dave’s as a last resort. https://www.walletrecoveryservices.com/

I’m sorry to say it but it sounds like you have caused an unrecoverable loss. Trezor support won’t be able to help you and anyone who says they can recover a private key from simply having the address is just scamming you.
The likelihood of recovering anything off the physical Trezor itself is zero too, especially since you already reinitialised it with a new seed…

Lesson for everyone in the cryptoverse: Always double/triple/quadruple check yourself when moving assets. Always send small dust amounts as a test, then attempt to find any faults in the transaction or wallet access before sending the rest.

Unfortunately, OP, the coins are gone. Really sorry to hear about this happening. This is a hodler’s worst nightmare.

Consider getting a good nights sleep and having a good breakfast—and then looking at the problem.
It might help to grab a whiteboard and draw out „lockboxes“ (the UTXOs) with Bitcoin in them, the keys for each box, and which device the keys live in. You might get the understanding that you want and need. Ideally it gives you the facts and an answer that makes sense, and explainable one, and you can find peace knowing the lay of the land and moving forward with that understanding.
