      Ich bin ein langjähriger Krypto-Nutzer und kenne mich mit den Dingen aus.

      Ich kaufte gerade ein Ledger nano s, heruntergeladen Ledger Live auf Windows und versucht, die beiden zu verbinden.

      Windows erkennt die nano s, aber ledger live nicht.

      Dieses Hilfethema existiert nicht auf der Ledger-Support-Seite.

      Das Hilfe-Widget in der unteren rechten Ecke hat dieses Thema absolut nicht – und ich habe wohl schon fast alle ausprobiert.

      Und es gibt absolut keine Möglichkeit, ein Ticket einzureichen – oder zu einem „anderen“ Bereich zu gehen.

      Ich habe die Fehlerbehebungsschritte für „Windows erkennt ledger nano nicht“ ausprobiert – ohne Erfolg.

      Das ledger nano Gerät funktioniert gut und öffnet sich über den Pin-Code.

      Und Windows erkennt das nano-Gerät.

      Allerdings ist das Ledger Live-Programm nicht, egal was ich tue.

      Ich habe mehrere Stunden mit diesem Problem verbracht.

      Why would this count as worst customer service in the world? You didn’t even mention that you’ve contacted Ledger Support lol. You just described any sort of normal troubleshooting situation.

      Ledger Support has been more responsive to me than arguably any other customer support service I’ve used (that includes non-crypto related services as well).

      Which Windows version are you running ? You might want to try to run Ledger Live as an administrator if the device is recognized by Windows (otherwise I’d have suggested to try a different cable)

      I had a similar problem. The problem appeared randomly. Neither Ledger Live nor any wallet that works with ledger would acknowledge the existence of my device when it was plugged in.

      I tried all other USB ports, no luck.
      Using a different PC worked no problem.
      I suspect a Windows problem.

      One day the problem wemt away on it’s own. Maybe it was a Windows patch that fixed it.

      If you have another machine, try that.
      If not, you could load a Linux like Ubuntu on a USB stick and try there. It will work most likely, but it’s of course inconvenient.

      Or you reinstall Windows. The sledge hammer method.

      Warning:

      -Don’t enter your seed into anything except the Ledger device itself.

      -Download / update ledger live software from official website only.

      -Never use search engine to access ledger website.

      -Ignore all messages in your inbox and mark them as spam.

      -Never click links or install software from an e-mail.

      -Never respond to someone request to download remote applications(Team viewer, anydesk and etc.)

      -Always conduct a small amount test while sending or receiving your funds and verify that the correct wallet address was copied/pasted into address bracket.

      So you can’t even get passed the first page to verify your ledger is genuine? Can’t pick you own a ledger and just want to restore?

      All my Ledger issues get answered by true ledger support team in a quick time frame. No true Ledger support here on Reddit. They just aren’t here. Someone tell you they are Ledger support they are lying thru their teeth. TWITTER is where they are. Very helpful.

      You may have another hardware wallet software installed on your computer? I’ve heard of this clash before. Also search through The Crypto Dad’s YouTube videos, he does tons of ledger videos.

      That’s very valuable feedback and a fair criticism of our bot. We’re actively working to improve that aspect of our customer service UX.

      To raise a ticket with a Tech CS agent, interact with the bot, select Ledger product, then follow any decision tree and when it asks if the article it provides helped with your issue, pick the „no“ response. If agents are available you will then have the opportunity to enter a live chat, otherwise you will be directed to submit an email address. Typically we aim to reply to emails within a day depending ticket volume, but if you reply here with a case number I’ll go into our system and grab yours manually.

      A windows problem is not ledger problem…test with phone….
