Okay, wie viele wahrscheinlich bemerkt haben, gibt es einen Zustrom von Leuten in diesem Sub, die „Standard“-Fragen stellen.

Ich bin sehr dafür, dass die Leute die Kontrolle über ihr eigenes Vermögen übernehmen. Und ich versuche in keiner Weise, die Kontrolle zu übernehmen. Aber können wir bitte mit den „wo gebe ich meine Seed-Phrase ein“ und anderen sehr einfachen Fragen aufhören?

Mein Eindruck von diesen neuen Beiträgen ist, dass die Leute ein Ledger kaufen, ohne wirklich zu wissen, wie es funktioniert. Bitte lesen Sie in diesem Sub, youtube und ledger.com nach. 99,9% Ihrer Fragen sind leicht zu beantworten, wenn Sie nur zu suchen, anstatt sofort einen Beitrag jedes Mal, wenn Sie eine Frage haben.

Die Kontrolle über Ihre eigene Seed-Phrase kann riskant sein, wenn Sie nicht verstehen, wie sie funktioniert und warum es so wichtig ist, sie offline zu halten. Es ist also keineswegs schwierig, aber man muss verstehen, wie die Dinge funktionieren, bevor man sie benutzt.

Aber natürlich, wenn Sie versucht haben, sich umzusehen, aber nicht die Antwort gefunden haben, nach der Sie suchen. Die Community hilft gerne weiter 🙂

Ich versuche nur, in diesem Sub ein bisschen aufzuräumen.

Been in this community for 7 years now. This post is a losing battle…

If the vast majority of people can’t even be bothered to use the search bar what hope do we have that they will do actual research with the goal of understanding something deeply?

None, none is the answer. In a couple of years of reading the same 10 posts on a loop you’ll become jaded like me and start ignoring this Sub too.

Noone is willing to put in the work, they want to be spoon fed. And even if you spoon feed them they won’t pay close enough attention; then when they fuck up they will blame you.

I’ve given up. Searching isn’t that hard. If they can’t be bothered then neither can I.

I appreciate this post. I try to be patient and help newcomers. It honestly scares me, that people have gone as far as to buy a Ledger to protect their crypto, but they seem to know nothing about how crypto works.

It tells me:

a) they are trying to be safe and not lose their investments
b) they aped into crypto without understanding the basics

People always want the easy route, but unfortunately, learning is the easiest route. People will learn one way or the other

I agree with your sentiments. I try to help sometimes, but it is a losing battle. It seems to be easier to buy the hard wallet and trust reddit to help.

When I 1st got started years ago, I learned by googling my questions and making sure I was on the correct website and not on some phishing site. It just takes the smallest bit of common sense and a bit of initiative to find out what you need to know. When I started there were very few places that could help. I took my time and tested and researched and tested again until I was comfortable with what I was doing.

I have not lost or been scammed of any assets yet. I loved fucking with the scammers so much.. I dont get messages anymore haha. If I do happen to get one that can get through my chat settings, I always make sure to ask if they know that cats are aliens. It seems to stop the convo for some reason Rofl.

I did make some mistakes, oh yes I did, but they were mistakes I could correct by myself. Why? I used google properly and used Ledger’s site.. a LOT. Crypto can be confusing no doubt, but just a bit of reading helps considerably.
