Hallo.
Ich bin neu auf die meisten dieser, vor allem, weil ich in einem Gebiet leben, wo es keine echte Internet-Verbindungen, aber ich bekomme anständige Telefon-Daten. Lassen Sie mich nicht anfangen, wie frustrierend das ist.

Also, ich habe einen NanoX, und natürlich möchte ich meine Währung in sie zu bekommen, aber ich bin zögerlich, und unsicher, wie es gehen wird, wenn ich versuche, es allein auf mein Telefon mit Ledger Live zu tun.
Kann jemand einige Fakten oder Erfahrungen in diesem Bereich teilen?

Everything should work perfectly fine. Transactions are initiated and broadcast to the blockchain, so internet connection doesn’t have much to do with anything (other than being able to view your balance as the Ledger Live application synchronizes).

Does this make sense?

edit: one thing you should always do is send test transactions of small amounts to ensure everything is in order.

Hey there, you are able to set-up your device while connected with your smartphone, however device’s firmware updates unfortunately can only be done on a PC.

If you purchase the device and follow the best practice and pass the genuine check, you have nothing to worry about as the device would be secure to use, the device’s secure element is responsible for keeping all your data safe and doesn’t connect your keys to the internet in any way!
The best practice is as follows:

– setup PIN
– generated 24 words recovery phrase
– establish a genuine check connection

After that, you are able to install apps from your managers tab and add accounts protected by these 24 words!

The main secure measure is protecting your 24 words recovery phrase and never digitizing or sharing it with anyone:

– Please keep your 24 words out of any online activity
– Never share them with anyone but yourself
– Ledger will never ask you for your recovery phrase
– Keep it in a safe place and away from any possible damage.
