Its the most popular product. Of course there will be more problems in total. People who have no issues dont make a post about it.

Hi – the only difference between Ledger Nano S plus and Ledger Nano X is bluetoot and battery. Most of our users who manage their assets via Ledger Live mobile app opt to buy Ledger Nano X. Also Ledger Nano plus cannot be connected to iOS devices via cable so the users managing their assets via iOS devices will be need to use a Ledger Nano X.

I’m in total agreement about **not** wanting a battery that is going to eventually die along with reducing my attack surface by not having Bluetooth.

You mention the security issues with Bluetooth but not the operating systems you connect the devices to. I have both but bought the x because I trust the security of transacting with apps through iOS more than windows. The s plus I just have as a cheaper backup. Think about how many people that get “hacked” really just downloaded a fake ledger live that asked for their seed for example. Once you then consider how much easier it would be to manipulate the clipboard or what the person sees onscreen on desktop from a security perspective mobile makes much more sense even with the Bluetooth attack vector. (For most people). Also will reiterate the point others made about people with good experiences don’t report them. Big company, lots of devices, low percentage rate of issues still translates to “lots of complaints”

Higher build quality and Bluetooth, but not worth the price they ask with all these battery and display issues I see on here. Preordered the Stax, hopefully that’s a decent device.

I actually have both the X and S Plus but the X is my daily driver..

It seems to have slightly better support overall..

Metamask is supposed to be adding Ledger Nano X support to their mobile app, according to their site it requires Bluetooth and the X model.. As of right now I haven’t heard anything about adding support for a physically connected S Plus, yet. If you want to use Metamask you have to use the desktop app right now..

      https://www.ledger.com/blog/ledger-metamask-strengthen-partnership-ledger-nano-x-soon-compatible-with-metamask-mobile-app

I have a couple of other native wallets that I use that work fine with the Bluetooth X, but don’t even see when I have the S Plus plugged in..

      Some do, some don’t..

The best I can tell both the X and the S Plus seem to work on with almost all desktop wallets so if you’re not using certain mobile apps, you probably won’t even notice.

If you wanna bluetooth it to your phone, then X. If you are ok with USB and want less things possible to break, then S+.
