Ich habe meine Seed-Phrase, aber ich hatte eine Situation, in der ich die Ledger-Firmware aktualisiert habe, gebricked wurde und den Zugriff auf meine BTC-Wallet verloren habe.

Welche Vorsichtsmaßnahmen kann ich ergreifen, um die Firmware zu aktualisieren und nicht einen Haufen meiner nfts zu verlieren?

The only way to protect against hardware failure is having your seed words and using them again to set up a replacement device (or software wallet).

The Trezor itself doesn’t store your NFTs, just your secret key to access them. The secret key is based on your seedwords (plus passphrase of you have one). As long as you have those words, you can always recover.

Hi, it is rare that Trezor gets bricked during the update, but it may happen. The only way how to make sure that you will never lose access to your funds is by having the wallet backed up, meaning that you need to have a correct recovery seed written down and stored on a safe place (and passphrase, if you use any).

If you have your seed, you can always recover your wallet with it, even if your device is wiped or even bricked and you have to use a different Trezor (or other compatible wallet) for getting to your funds.

There is no solid advice on how to prevent getting the device bricked, but with a backup of your wallet you can be sure that you can get to your funds anytime.
