      Hallo, ich habe ein paar Fragen zur Passphrase.

      1. Schützt die PIN davor, dass jemand anderes den Trezor benutzt und Münzen verschiebt?
      2. Schützt die Passphrase davor, dass jemand anderes den Seed benutzt?
      3. Wenn die Passphrase vergessen wird, der Trezor und die PIN aber nicht, kann ein neuer Seed erzeugt werden, für den eine neue Passphrase verwendet werden kann? Wenn ja, wird eine neue Geldbörse erstellt und die Münzen müssen dorthin verschoben werden, ohne Trezor und PIN zu verwenden?

      Vielen Dank!

      Hey, to answer your questions:

      1. Correct, the PIN prevents users from using the actual device;
      2. The passphrase is an extra word on top of your 12 word seed phrase, meaning multiple „sub-wallets“ can be created from a single seed;
      3. If the passphrase is forgotten, you will lose access to that wallet associated with that passphrase.

      For more detailed information on passphrases, I’d recommend reading this [article](https://wiki.trezor.io/Passphrase)

      Yes, yes, and yes if you can access it move everything and generate a new passphrase on the seed or new seed entirely

      You will need a passphrase to access the hidden wallet I believe. I haven’t used a trezor in a while
      I think it makes you type it in. But I may be wrong

      You cannot forget the passphrase. The passphrase acts as a 13th word for your seed, which generates a completely separate wallet from the 12 word seed. If you lose the passphrase, you lose the coins.

      Why do you want to forget the seed?

      Hi!
      1. Yes, PIN protects your physical Trezor device.
      2. The passphrase is an ultimate protection, no matter if your seed was compromised, or if someone got into your physical Trezor device. Since the passphrase does exist only in your head, even if someone knew your seed or had access to your physical Trezor, without the passphrase they would not be able to get to your coins.
      3. If your funds are in a passphrase (hidden) wallet, then you need to know the passphrase as well – if you forget your passphrase, you lose chance to access your funds and no one would be able to help you in such situation. In other words, knowing just the PIN and seed is not enough.
