Ich sehe keinen Grund, warum Trezor es auf 12 Wörter beschränken sollte. Vielleicht könnte man eine Option einblenden, die standardmäßig eine 12-Wort-Seedphrase erzeugt, aber dem Benutzer die Möglichkeit gibt, 24 Wörter auszuwählen, wenn er das möchte. Derzeit muss man das mit dem Kommandozeilentool machen oder eine komplett andere Hardware-Wallet verwenden, um die 24 Wörter zu erzeugen und dann auf dem Trezor wiederherzustellen.

Ich weiß, dass Trezor versucht, das Anfängerpublikum anzusprechen, aber ein paar „fortgeschrittenere“ Optionen wären auch gut.

The reason is, if you’re doing the normal thing with your seed (i.e., backing it up and using it once a year to check that your backup is good), there is no reason to use anything other than 12 words.

24 words is the default for Trezor One.

I believe that’s not Trezor’s problem, that’s user’s problem.

If Trezor T provides simple and handy 12 word seed as default standard, and open the 24 option with trezorctl, we have this post.

If Trezor T provides 24 word seed backup, someone would ask: Math proves that 12 word seed is strong enough, then why the f*ck Trezor T requires me to tap 24 shit on the screen.

If Trezor T provides 12-18-24 options, someone would ask what option to go, why don’t Trezor apply the default standard like ****

That’s weird because the one I used to have required a 24 word mnemonic phrase. Do you have model T or trezor one? I think the model T trezor uses 12 words. In any case 12 words is plenty secure. Brute forcing even 12 words would take years even with a super powerful computer 🖥.
