Wie der Titel schon sagt, bin ich neu bei metaMask und habe meine Trezor-Wallet mit meinem 24-Wort-Trezor-Seed importiert. Habe ich damit gerade die Sicherheit meiner Wallet gefährdet? Ich habe gelesen, dass es besser ist, ein neues MM-Konto mit einer eigenen Seed-Phrase zu erstellen und dann die neue Wallet in dieses Konto zu importieren.

Yup your seed is now compromised.

Good news is that it’s unlikely that The Hackers(tm) actually grabbed it right this moment, so you probably have ample time to create a new seed and move all your assets to it.

This is a, shall we say, _unfortunate_ design decision on the part of MetaMask: even if you only ever intend to use Trezor as the store, MM will force you to create a hot seed anyway.

So this is the steps you should take:
1. install MetaMask
2. set up a MetaMask hot wallet, by generating a seed and writing it down just in case
3. when done, click „Connect Hardware Wallet“ and connect your Trezor
4. rename your first account to „DO NOT USE THIS“ and never use it anything, always use the Trezor account.

Hi, I am not sure I fully understand. Did you import your MM seed to Trezor or did you created a new seed with Trezor and connected it to Metamask this way https://wiki.trezor.io/Apps:MetaMask ?

If you connectef Trezor to MM with a seed created by Trezor, you did it the right way.

that wallet is useless (the 24 words, not the hardware), Just create a new one and transfer the funds to the new address 🙂 Not a big deal but dont keep coins there, its compromised
