Hallo mein ledger nano S ist gestorben und ich habe ein ledger nano x, das ich für separate Konten verwendet habe. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, wie ich mein ledger nano X vorübergehend verwenden könnte, um mein ledger nano s zu ersetzen, um die Münzen zu entfernen, die in den verschiedenen Konten gehalten werden, die mit diesem Gerät verbunden sind (indem ich die ledger nano s Seed-Phrase verwende, um das Gerät einzurichten) und dann, sobald alle Konten leer sind, kann ich mein nano x-Gerät zurücksetzen und meine ursprüngliche ledger nano x-Seed-Phrase wieder eingeben, um den Zugang zu meinen nano x-Konten wieder zu aktivieren? You can have as many backup Nanos as you want to access your crypto/ Ledger live etc as long as your setting them up with the original seed Phrase from the first nano you used.

The answer is yes except if you have ADA on Yoroi wallet, apparently Yoroi doesnt recognise a nano x as a valid replacement for a nano s. Im not certain at this point if a nano s would be a valid replacement, it seems as though it may only be satisfied with the original machine which if broken like mine presents a significant problem. I dont know what im going to do next.

or just buy a cheap nano S to do the move, they can be found for less than $30 on ebay…

Then you won’t have to enter the seed phrase twice (with the added frustration to re-enter it again i9f you make a mistake!)

(make sure to reset them, check that they are authentic, and make sure they check as genuine with ledger live)
