Kontonummer auf Trezor Suite stimmt nicht mit der Nummer auf MetaMask überein, aber Trezor p/w funktioniert

Edit: Es scheint, dass ich mich mit widersprüchlicher Terminologie selbst verwirrt habe. Trezor hat Wallet’s, die mehrere Konten enthalten können. Wenn Sie in MM eine Hardware-Wallet importieren, importieren Sie ein bestimmtes Konto innerhalb der Trezor-Wallet. Wenn MM also sagt: „Wallet importieren“, bedeutet das eigentlich „ein Konto in der Trezor-Wallet importieren“. In meinem Fall habe ich also beim Importieren ein Konto weiter unten in der Liste ausgewählt (#14). Dieses wird in der Suite erst angezeigt, wenn ich 14 Konten importiert habe.

Ich habe vor ein paar Monaten eine versteckte ~~Account~~ Wallet (mit Passphrase) erstellt, nennen wir sie 0x920, während der MetaMask Connect Hardware Wallet, indem ich eine zufällige Adresse ausgewählt habe. Alles scheint in Ordnung zu sein. Ich muss Passphrase auf Trezor für jede Transaktion wie erwartet bestätigen.

Heute checke ich ein, und in der Trezor Suite gehe ich zum ersten Mal zu „Add Hidden Wallet“, gebe meine Passphrase ein und stelle fest, dass die Kontonummer anders ist, sagen wir 0x957. Ich fand es seltsam, dass sie nicht übereinstimmte.

Als ich zurück zu MM gehe und eine Testtransaktion durchführe, fragt Trezor nach dem Pass, demselben Pass, den ich gerade in die Suite eingegeben habe, und die Transaktion ist erfolgreich.

Ich bin also wirklich verwirrt und besorgt, wie können die Wallet-Nummern unterschiedlich sein?

Edit: Ich habe die Formulierung von „Passwort“ in „Passphrase“ geändert, um Klarheit zu schaffen.

This is a very common issue. Different passphrase = different wallet (different address)… or you actually have 2 different wallets (as in you choose a differerent address from the MetaMask list originally instead of the first address)

In the case of 2 different passphrases:

BOTH passphrases are accurate, in the sense that both will take you to a wallet (they just won’t take you to the same wallet).

ANY passphrase will take to to a wallet, that’s the beauty of passphrases. You can make unlimited wallets by changing the passphrase you type in.

In the case of choosing an address in MetaMask other than the 1st address:

You would have to create additional accounts in Suite down to that number for the to match. Address 1 in MetaMask = Account 1 in Suite. Address 2 in MetaMask = Account 2 in Suite. etc.

So here is something I may have done incorrectly. On connecting to MM with the Trezor (following steps sim to video below), under New Account page, there is a list of account numbers. I randomly selected one … prior to setting up the Hidden Account in Suite. So while MM setup the account (that is connected and p/w protected by my Trezor) it is not the same Hidden Account in Suite that used the same password. Which makes no sense. So I’m going to have to dig a bit more tomorrow.
