Hallo, ich habe also mein Ledger eingerichtet. Dann bin ich zu Metamask gegangen und habe mit der Startphrase (aus dem Ledger) importiert.
Ist das falsch? Ich habe nämlich nicht gelesen, dass ich meine 24 Wörter nicht auf der Metamask-Website veröffentlichen soll. Bitte um Hilfe. Wie kann ich dies bitte korrigieren? Für jede Hilfe bin ich dankbar

Note that you should now generate a new seed phrase on your ledger.

The seed phrase that you entered in MM is now unsafe and possibly compromised, and should never be used again.

It is best practice to never enter your recovery phrase anywhere since it could potentially compromise your security. The best thing to do here would be to move everything off of this recovery phrase (to another Ledger or onto an exchange temporarily). Once you have done that you can wipe the device and setup a new recovery phrase and move all of your assets back onto it.

For future reference you can connect a Ledger device directly to Metamask and use your Ledger to sign the transactions for that account. You can read this [article](https://www.ledger.com/academy/security/the-safest-way-to-use-metamask) to find out how to do that.

Importing your ledger to mm is not the right way.
From mm drop down menu, you should choose the xonnect hardware wallet option instead.

You may have to reset your ledger with new seeds and start afresh.
