Ich versuche, mein bestehendes Metamask-Konto mit Ethereum darin sowie einen Node auf meinen Ledger Nano S zu migrieren. Ich kann mein Konto auf Metamask ohne Probleme aufrufen, aber wenn ich versuche, den Ledger zu verbinden, wird das Konto nicht im Feld „Select an Account“ angezeigt. Ich habe die HD-Pfade geändert und alles durchgeblättert. Mein Konto ist nicht da. Irgendwelche Vorschläge?

You need to setup a new account and transfer the assets. Just migrating the account defeats the purpose and security of getting a ledger

Please note that your Metamask account is linked to a different recovery phrase and your Ledger account is linked to a different set of the recovery phrase. So it is not possible to add/merge your Metamask account in Ledger Live or secure your current Metamask account with a Ledger device.

I would suggest not to import your Metamsk recovery phrase in the Ledger device since the recovery phrase of Metamask is generated online and it may get exposed on the internet even after you delete your Metamask wallet resulting in loss of your assets.

In your case, I would recommend transferring all your assets from Metamask accounts to Ledger accounts so that your assets are secured by recovery phrase generated offline by your Ledger device.

Please make sure to unstake any assets before transferring from them to your Ledger account.

After you have transferred your asset to your Ledger ETH account, you can connect your Ledger device to Metamask to manage your account.
