Ich beschloss, meine Ledger mit 24 Wörtern Wiederherstellungsphrase wiederherzustellen.Im nicht 100% sicher auf nur ein Wort.Recovery ging glatt und ich installierte eth app auf Ledger LIve und nach der Synchronisierung Konto erhalte ich brandneue Adressen und es gibt keine Spur von den alten.Wo ist das Problem?

My Ledger firmware and Ledger live are up to date.I tried Ledger Live clearing the cache as well as a reset.I tried recovery phrase 3 times.Thank God, I have less than 10$ inside, but I want to restore my addresses.Any ideas? maybe that one word is the problem?

Hello, indeed you need to have all the 24 words correct, to access the funds it previously held. If you know which words is incorrect, you cam try to see words that contain the same letters by searching for them in the BIP39 word list: [https://getcoinplate.com/blog/official-bip39-word-list-mnemonic-in-english-verified/](https://getcoinplate.com/blog/official-bip39-word-list-mnemonic-in-english-verified/)

Here you can find further tips on if you received the recovery phrase invalid message: [https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417716850321-Recovery-phrase-is-invalid?support=true](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417716850321-Recovery-phrase-is-invalid?support=true)

I hope this helps and remain available if needed

Did you even set a bip39 passphrase?

If so, you need to restore it too.

      >Im not 100% sure on just one word

There’s your issue. If you think you’re close on that word, google up the BIP39 word list and try adjacent words. They’re unique in the first 4 letters so it shouldn’t be too hard to locate the correct one if you’re only off by a letter or two.

For example, if you *think* the word is “eagle” you could try “early” or “eager”.

      Good Luck!
