Ich plane den Kauf eines Ledger hat nicht wirklich desided für die X oder die S, aber ich denke, ich werde die X für die Bluetooth und mehr Apps, auch wenn ich nur gonna setzen BTC und ETH auf in für eine Weile

Jetzt für meine Frage werde ich BTC und ETH auf einer monatlichen Basis kaufen und ich möchte sie auf dem Ledger zu halten, ich habe gelesen, Sie können über Ledger Live kaufen, aber die Gebühren ist hoch, so dass ich auf den Kauf der Krypto auf Binance planen und senden Sie es an das Ledger, aber ich bin nicht sicher, ob die Transaktionsgebühr teurer vor allem mit ETH als nur kaufen direkt von Ledger Live sein wird.

Jeder gute Rat, um meine monatlichen Käufe so billig wie möglich zu machen und vielleicht helfen mir deside für die S oder die X?

Just my opinion. I would just get the S. No battery is an advantage and you won’t need the extra space with just Eth and BTC. I have two S devices; you could do the same :-). I am fine with quickly deleting and installing another App but you won’t have to do that.

I think the cheapest way to buy is on the exchange. Eth fees are high but there are windows when its „cheaper“. I look at Friday evenings (EST) or Saturday mornings. It is good to get it off the exchange but you could leave it a bit longer and move them in larger batches to reduce fees. That would be true for both Eth and BTC.

If you can, wait for the S Plus. It’s due to be released soon, maybe next month. It has a larger screen than the standard S and greater storage capacity. And (wishful thinking) hopefully will be of better build quality than the standard.

Buying within Ledger live is too expensive.

I would buy on Binance (as you mentioned) and then send to the Ledger when you have a good amount worth sending. This will help reduce the fees instead of sending every time you buy. That will mean keeping the crypto on Binance for a period of time but I think that’s ok if you systematically continually send it off Binance to cold storage.

I’d get both and actually have both. Here’s why:

1. You’ll want a back up.

2. You’ll inevitably need more capacity because what is “just BTC and ETH” now will certainly grow to more crypto in the future. Trust me. 😉

When you „buy straight from Ledger Live“, you still pay the same gas fees, as bought Ethereum is transferred to your wallet via, well, an Ethereum transaction.
So there’s zero point buying from Ledger Live, besides extra convenience.
