Hallo Jungs und Mädels!

Also das 25. Wort Passohrase Feature ist hauptsächlich für btc, ist es auch für Alts zu empfehlen? (Elrond EGLD?)

Und wenn ich meine Fubds auf einem EGLD-Konto mit Passphrase speichere, hat niemand Zugriff darauf ohne mein 25.

Ich weiß, dass die Antwort auf diese Frage in Bezug auf BTC ist einfach, aber ich wollte nur sicher sein, wie es mit alts wie EGLD funktionieren wird.

Passphrases are used to generate a complete set of new accounts for all coins, the feature is in no way limited to BTC or mainly connected to BTC in one way or another. It’s part of the BIP39 standard.

It’s recommended not to choose a word, but a random set of characters, like a password.

The passphrase creates a new seed, and therefore a new set of accounts for ALL your cryptos (including your alts).

How do you choose a 25th word. I’ve restored 3 or more ledgers and have never seen a passphrase option.
